• About Le Ray Gymnastics

    Founded by Sydney 2000 Olympian & 1998 Commonwealth Games medallist Dani Le Ray, Le Ray Gymnastics has won the NSW Rhythmic Gymnastics 'Coaching Team of the Year' & 'Club of the Year' awards for the past 10 years running.

     

    Each LRG location provides an unparalleled professional service for gymnasts of all levels from Recreational to Elite. Training involves a variety of activities including stretching, dance movements, ballet, acrobatics, skipping, circuits and lots more.

     

    Our coaching team comprises of ex-gymnasts and students of each location providing a friendly and nurturing environment to kick start your gymnastics journey!

    LRG Abbotsleigh

    Located at Abbotsleigh School in Wahroonga

    Open to Abbotsleigh students & the general public, classes are run 4 days per week.

     

    LRG Abbotsleigh has become one of NSW's most successful and largest elite and levels programs. It has been responsible for producing numerous state and national champions as well as furthering gymnasts to compete at an international level.

    LRG Academy

    Located at Holy Saviour School in Greenacre

    Open to the general public, classes are run days 5 per week.

     

    Previously known as the Meriden Rhythmic Gymnastics Centre (LRG Meriden), the LRG Academy has one of Australia’s most successful elite programs and is responsible for producing numerous state and national champions as well as furthering the success of 2010 Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist Naazmi Johnston and 2014 Commonwealth Games Australian representative Jaelle Cohen.

     

    Located in Greenacre, the Academy offers a variety of classes from a Recreational level through to the highest national level in a well equipped Rhythmic Gymnastics facility. We also have an exciting new High Performance program launching at this location in conjunction with Gymnastics NSW that will be dedicated to improving Australia's international ranking in Rhythmic Gymnastics. The High Performance program aims to encourage, develop, promote and nurture high performance athletes in NSW as well as accelerating the development of talented athletes with the goal of success at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

    LRG PLC Sydney

    Located at Presbyterian Ladies College (PLC Sydney) in Croydon

    Open to PLC Sydney students & the general public, classes are run days 4 per week.

     

    Opening in 2015, LRG PLC Sydney has quickly proven itself to be a thriving Rhythmic Gymnastics environment. Within its first year of operation the centre has produced State Champions and developed National and International representatives.

    LRG Ravenswood

    Located at Ravenswood School in Gordon

    Open to Ravenswood students & the general public, classes are run days 4 per week.

     

    LRG Ravenswood which opened in 2011, has excelled in all areas with outstanding results and rapid growth in all programs. It has been nominated in the NSW Club of the Year category for 2016 along with numerous athletes from the centre being recognised for their achievements at a State, National and International level.

  • About Dani Le Ray

    Involved in the sport for over 25 years as a competitor and as the Founder and Coaching Director of LRG, Dani has been continually recognised as 'Coach of the Year' across both the elite and levels streams in NSW and Australia.

     

    Dani is the current Elite Representative on the NSW RG Gymsport Committee and is the NSW Independent Girls Schools Sporting Association Gymnastics Convener.

     

    In her role as the Commonwealth Games Head Coach, Dani led Australia to its first ever gold medal in the team event and helped achieve a further two gold and two silver in the individual events.
